This is a nice deep box to accommodate old fashioned stiff wiring relatively easily
Required a couple of deep boxes to replace some shallow ones for a pair of double sockets. These proved to be a good purchase as they are of a decent quality.
For information, the cable clamp shown in the photograph isn't fitted in the ones that I purchased. This wasn't a problem for what I wanted them for.
Bought due to needing a deeper pattress as one I had was not deep enough to take the cooker switch and wires
Brilliant bit of kit. Had a light switch and a fused spur. Been able to have both in this one housing.
Required small protrusion for hiding double socket behind a bedroom TV. This was perfect and very good value.
Cracked knocking out the access hole but still usable
Can you believe it this was a 32mm surface pattress 2G box. It was so amazingly exciting to install, sitting so proud from the wall and so wildly pattressey. I wish there were more like this, love you pattress box.
I bought this to replace a broken Pattress box in our rental property. Initially I was concerned as there are some 1 star reviews stating that the box broke easily but decided to give this product a try. I was careful when I came to break out the screw holes and the bottom of the Pattress for the electrical wires but I needn't have worried the box was fine. The breakout section were easy to pierce and the box was installed without any issue.

Well made, very sturdy, matches perfectly with an Axiom 2 gang socket and plenty of fixings points and knock outs. Axiom are always my first choice for quality, switches, sockets and mattress boxes.

Very poor quality. Bought 5 for a small job as my usual brand out of stock. 2 out of 5 broke/shattered when removing knockout to allow cable entry. 1 also broke when fixing it carefully to a perfectly flat wooden wall. Threw the rest away and bought elsewhere
