Have never fitted this particular make of consumer unit before. The customer wanted the cheapest one available as it was only been used in a garage. To be honest it was better than I was expecting decent knock outs for cable entry, plenty of room for mcb’s and cables. A good selection of circuit labels. All in all not a bad choice if working to a tight budget.

I needed to upgrade my existing garage consumer unit in order to install an EV charger. I needed one with a Type A MCB and this unit was ideal. Charger now fitted connected to the unit without any problems
