The problem with Toolstation's listing of JBs is that it is unclear in many cases how the insides are arranged. I bought one of these some while ago and the 4 terminals were arranged in the traditional 'one at each corner of a square' square format. This latest one - despite having the same stock number - appears to be from a different manufacturer and has the terminals in a 'four in a straight row' format. I bought this one to replace an existing one which got damaged, but now have to jiggle with the existing cables to get them to fit the different layout, when I was expecting to do a simply and straightforward swop.
Brilliant JB. Plenty of room for loop in and out. Also leaves room for the switch circuits.

Brittle plastic. Broke trying to make opening large enough for 6mm T&E. Terminals too small for multiple 6mm cable. Brass screw de-threaded trying to tighten secure enough to stop me being able to pull an earth cable out when checking for secure connection.
Purchased a 5A junction box I needed to complete and finish off a DIY wiring job. Excellent value money in my opinion.

The staff at your Hornchurch store are excellent ,I used to go to the one in Dagenham butter staff are not really helpful

A bit tight for four cables but it does the job, with a chocolate box connector.
Too small and in my view a waste of time for joining light circuits.
It junctions very very well and it is made of plastic.
Some the screws are fused and won't undo, so brake if you try to undo, can only fit two 1.5mm² cables under a screw, returned and got wago with a plastic box to contain, got some hours of my life back, shouldn't on bothered with these.
Great, does the job, took the cables.

Nice junction box with large easy access connectors
These appear to be in line with the current standards but have not been used at this time. Having used a similar product with a 20amp rating, the one comment would be the connection process is not as good as other brands.
exactly as it is, junction box and used as it is intended. Not problem with the cable entries
