OK. Sparky was happy to use them. Only prob was that screw caps got lost or didn't fit and fell out.

I started fitting these a couple of years ago after a few bad ones from mk. Good cheap range, although if you need longer m3.5 screws use the little brass extenders - I found and other long m3.5 were too girthy at the head and stopped the little caps fitting properly.

It's a socket, made from white plastic, with holes in the back for wires. When wired up correctly, it works.
It's not exactly flat mind, it kind of arches like the roof in a tuscan wine cellar. Also, sometimes the screw cover holes can be a tad loose, but hey, it's cheap as chips. Providing the chips cost exactly the same as this socket that is.
In case it helps with wiring/planning, pinch-screw access is from the top, and looking 'through' the socket and left to right, the wire terminals are ordered earth, neutral, live, earth.
I bought for a job and both the customer and myself are happy with it
