Appears to be good product, good terminalsEasy to install, programming instructions difficult to understand
It replaced one 1 bought 7 or 8 years ago but packed up. I would expect it to last much longer so only 3 stars. Some of the information on the screen is very small so difficult to read.
Timer for inductive load used for charging an off grid solar battery inverter
Neat little timer. Does what it is supposed to and reasonably priced.
Well it works OK but as with many programable devices the tech guys get carried away. Please consider many people don't need or want cleaver just simple and easy to use just like the user.
Well designed timer straight forward to install and set up
The timer does the job. I only wanted one on/off event, but it’s possible to do 20.
It is called a ‘Flush immersion heater timer’ but it sticks out further than the one it replaces.
Dismantling to wire up is a little fiddly and you have to be careful not to damage the wired led.
This timer replaces a neat ‘Green Brook’ model T40S-C timer which had a flip up cover.
Unfortunately, it is the second ‘Green Brook’ timer to fail. The ‘Green Brook’ timer didn’t handle led bulbs either.
The Axiom timer does, although I’ve not checked that yet.
So far, I would recommend for the price.
fine...............................................
Found this product to be good value and works well. Simple to programme, robust and contrary to some reviews, it’s not fiddly to wire and I found it very intuitive to fix to the switch and to use. All good up to now.
Low cost, easy to install and easy to program timer
Ordered one evening picked up the next. Nice service
Does the job but very fiddly to get connected due to thin and short wires
I used this as a switch (internal) for an external lamp. It works fine and was good value for money.
Wanted a timer for some outside lights. This fitted the bill. It's a bit big as it sits on a back box but is ok.
Lots of programs and is fairly intuitive to set up.
Biggest problem is the tiny letters on the display.
I have to take my glasses off and get my nose on the panel!
Electrician said you need a blue wire which fortunately he'd already done.
As an electrician in my former life I found it a bit fiddly getting the 2.5 (7/029) cables in the connections but I persevered. Used it to switch immersion heater (mergency heater) as it has 16A rating.
Does what it says on the box. The On/Off/Auto On/Auto Off writing is a bit small but so far I've not needed to change the settings since installation.
Timer used to control my immersion heater. Easy to install and set up.
Easy to install. Range of times is decent for the pricing. Used as a hot water controller. Easy set up. Could benefit from better visual identification of the on/off/auto button.
Easy to install and setup (which is rare for some digital controllers!). Two negatives, one it comes with no box screws which is criminal also the soldered connections are under a lot of pressure when you take the front fascia off to terminate wires - cannot be avoided but a warning to those heavy handed
Used this timer to control the "Setback" switch on a ventilation unit, so that it runs at a reduced speed over night. Easy to install and set up, no problems so far, very pleased.
