We had a mixer tap in the kitchen, and it drove me mad. After using the hot tap, it would drip so I had to turn it off hard. Ordered these pillar taps and I am really pleased. No more dripping taps. They are really nice to use. Lever action is smooth and positive. I would recommend this product.
Only installed yesterday. Seem good quality. Hopefully will last well. I dont know if worth the extra expense. Well known name.
Nice product , well finished and complete with square o ring and backnuts. o ring was set into base groove so that it remained in position during fitting.
First taps delivered dripped slightly (possible return from previous buyer?) but Toolstation were excellent and sent out replacement immediately without waiting for return and without further charge. Second set of taps are perfect and are good value as well as good quality.

They do the job, but it takes time to know how good they are in the long run.
At £30, quality is superb, the taps are heavy and the valves are smooth action. Don't waste your time with unbranded taps as the saving is not worth it. Spare parts are readily available too which you don't get with unbranded products. Even the back nuts are brass and the rubber sealing washer is built in to the base of the tap meaning they dont squeeze out and show when fitted.

Bought this for my parents who needed a lever kitchen version as my mums arthritis is getting worse.
They wanted to pay me for them and I refused saying it was only £30 and they refused to believe I didn’t spend over £100 on them !
A smart and nicely engineered product giving smooth and instant control of water flow. They might not quite suit the decor of a million pound fitted kitchen, but they are a perfect product for a utility room.
