Needs improvement . The product comes with two wrap around jackets one is from 8 to 15 mm. The larger one is from 15 mm to 22 mm. The jackets have two pull up toggles one at each end. The idea is to stop the coolant when it is being put in from leaking. Unfortunately the first toggle we pulled up came away and broke so this will be obviously returned for a replacement I find the design of the jackets very poor it needs to have a better way of sealing up the ends . What we will do in future is just to put cable ties at each end to help it.

Very good product. I have used first time to freeze vertical 22 copper pipe.
Experienced plumber. This works sometimes and sometimes it does not. The variability is such a huge expense.. putting it one star because it's an unreliable system presented as an ultimate solution.

nice kit in a handy package, managed to freeze off two pipes and do the necessary alterations. The instructions were good, but I think it takes a bit more of the gas to freeze than they say. The weighing scales are not the easiest to use as there are no instructions for them and found it difficult to attach them anywhere to gauge the usage from the bottle.
Followed the instructions, heard the ‘click’ as the ice plug formed on 4 separate joints. No leaks.
Expensive but worked a treat.
First time I’d used this type of product. Worked well and completed the job.
I’ve only used this one time to freeze 2 15mm copper pipes. I followed the instructions and it worked as described and allowed me to modify radiator pipes without draining the system.
Didn't work at all. Used a whole can of spray to freeze a 15mm pipe which didn't work and also the whole can was used within the time limit in the instructions to freeze one pipe.
I’ve seen these kits before,demonstrated at Phex.I was quite impressed I’ve only used the throwaway ones.It’s a good kit with all the bits I would say just one downfall it needs a bit more gas than stated and the gas is very expensive.So when pricing jobs allow enough for the refills.
What a waste of my money it froze the pipe for few mins then it just defrost had to keep topping the frezze up several times times I checked everything was turned off but still would hold fir long
Followed instructions which were very clear, unfortunately two cans of spray later the 22mm pipe had still not frozen, gave up and drained the system.
I used the whole bottle and try and freeze 22 mm Plastic pipe. Had no effect whatsoever other than some mild cooling. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’ve got a large bore plastic pipe
Brilliant freeze kit, worked as intended. Followed the instructions to the letter, the freeze lasted about 15 mins which was plenty of time to do the job.
Great piece of kit. Bee using one for years. Finally wore it out. This one should last the same.
Not used the kit yet but looks good , may need another bottle
Worked as expected and saved a long drain down and refill to repair a leaking joint to radiator.
Follow the instructions carefully and everything will go smoothly
All the instructions were followed to the letter.
I have come to the conclusion that this is an expensive con and it couldn’t freeze and ice cube in the attic in the middle of winter
