Perfect for our needs. We make fishing floats for anglers.
Easy to mix the two components in the correct proportions. Slower setting time allows repositioning. I left the glued item for the recommended 14 hours. The repair is rock solid. Very impressed.
Faulty product, failed to Set! unfortunately almost clear used to be grey
Beware this picture is not the one that is been sold
This new type which has a black pusher as opposed to blue is terrible.
What has changed is the fact both components come out of the same tube instead of coming out separately. It comes with a mixing nozzle . When I fit the nozzle for the first time the glue was not coming through, I had to apply a lot of pressure to the pusher so much so that the whole nozzle detached and a lot of glue came squirting out and was wasted . Additionally once the glue is in that nozzle it dries up and can no longer be used . The kit only includes 2 nozzles so apparently it is only meant to be used for 2 applications.
If you try to use it without the nozzles , the amounts don't come out evenly and when you replace the lid it can be either side so you can have the hardner being in contact with adhesive
I can understand what they were thinking, the old dispenser was very good .
I have returned the item , and tool station should put the picture of the new one .
Not sure why we cant just mix the 2 parts together manually without having to employ another bit of plastic that mixes as you squeeze it from the syringe.
Works as it says on the tube, staff were great and helpful
Very good adhesive which has a good hold and long working time. Syringe makes it easy to work with too.
Would never buy the syringe again, instructions were useless and there were no contact details on the packaging nor web site. I will stick with the 'tube type'.
Great product - worked as expected. Would buy again
Very difficult to use, with glue at room temperature it was almost impossible to squeeze glue through the mixing nozzel, I discarded the nozzel and mixed glue by hand.
Great results but the syringe hardens, and there’s only two of them. So basically you get to use the glue twice only.
did the job nozzles are wasteful if used was slow to cure
Its dead sticky and glues stuff together. Hope it holds for a bit.
Strong adhesive but.. you need patience. Slower to set than instructions. Also the pump is unbelievably hard to depress. The two chemicals need mixing this is done by a helicoil inside the attachable nozzle. So if you don’t have the grip of a professional wrestler then you may struggle. Glue works well when set.
Strongest glue, great use long wait time expected joining items need to have solid approximation
Leaves cloudy yellow finish like a bad uti
The item illustrated on the website is not the one in the stock - the item Toolstation are selling does not have the nice small nozzles as shown in the photos but instead comes with two mixing tubes. Fine if you want a lot of glue but rubbish if you want small quantities.
Good adhesive but almost impossible to get out of the applicater
Its very sticky. I use it for sticking my sticks together.
The one I got …did not look like this! If you get one with two long clear plastic nozzles..run. I wanted the aluminium tubes, there’s nothing wrong with them and they are way less plastic but seemingly noone sells these same day now. I had something to finish that needed a glue joint first so I was swayed..big mistake. I’ve never been convinced by even the original syringe dispenser, the two components still come out at different rates because seemingly they will always be differing thicknesses.. I should have been suspicious this one came with the packet open but unused, the last purchaser clearly looked it over and had more sense. There’s a new cap that stops you putting it back the wrong way round and sticking it on..ok..but then this 2” plastic extension which like a resin anchor nozzle mixes the two components on the way out..and just like a resin anchor nozzle it’s good for (in the words of Wyclef Jean..) ”one time!” You get a whole two and they don’t seem to be available separately ..so tell me..who uses 50% of a tube of Araldite in one hit? How do these help? ‘No more messy bit of card to mix on” big wow…stupidly I looked at it..there was loads going on in this nozzle and I thought..no..they must have found a way to stop the nozzle curing..and tried it..no..they haven’t..it goes off and you lose I don’t know how much glue to it. And there’s no “cut the tip off or clear with a pin” option..50% of the things length looks cured (it’s clear so you can cry over all the glue you’ve wasted) Best of all..I don’t even trust the mix..the items I glued pinged off the next day..square one on my job, I’ve always found the ally tube stuff good.. It was galvanised to be fair but I did abrade and degrease with meths.. I’d take it back but now I just think..they’ll throw all this plastic foolishness in the bin unused..bang goes the environment! So im shamed into keeping it. You can use without the ridicunozzle so I’ll be getting on with that I guess..refund and allow me to keep it please toolstation??
Really impressed with this glue. I used it to stick a broken paving slab together as the last one broke and I couldn’t get any more. Applied to one side and clamped together. A day later and it actually rang when tapped like it had never been broken. The self mixing nozzle is really impressive too!
