Used to repair water tank leak, was easy to use, quick, very effective - just very difficult to get hold of this stuff anywhere
Great epoxy repair resin. Sorted some nasty drill holes in a plastic soil pipe. Plugged the holes with silicone plugs and then covered all with this resin. Totally dry repair and solid and watertight within minutes.
Bought this to repair leaking steel pipe worked like a charm, and at a good price
Awesome! Does the trick brilliantly!! Never have any doubt this will work.
Great product - easy application, strong bond and dries/harndens quickly.
Simple enough but used it for a different job as was not suitable for the intended (needed drinking water safe).
I used my Araldite as soon as I got home read the instructions & proceeded with my repair, it said that it would be effective within one hour, I did some other jobs & went back to check the repair a couple of hours later & it was even better than I anticipated, my repair was as good as new. I would recommend this product to anybody 100%. 5 stars without a doubt.
Amazing stuff this, it goes rock hard. I had to make a hard black plastic part wider by roughly 2.5 mm. I marked in pencil then used a soldering iron to rough up the plastic part where I needed to widen it. Hint, tape around the area to make cleaning afterwards easier. A Stanley knife will cut a piece off of the putty tube no problem. It is a bit firm to mix between the fingers at first, but once going it is not a problem. You have enough time but do not have long after it is mixed, to mess around with it before it starts to go hard. So BE READY BEFORE YOU MIX it. Once applied, shape it then leave alone. Once hard, a sharp Stanley will shave off sides or cut it, with some pressure, but sanding works fine. It has been stuck on for months now and still exactly as when I put it in.
It worked fine once I realised that it didn't cure for hours unless it was at a normal room temperature. My second job worked better because the putty was warmer and was easier to knead though the work piece was out in the cold giving me time to work the putty into some cracks and make smooth fillets before curing it all with a hair dryer.
Used this to plug a leak in a heating pipe, once it went off it was absolutely watertight - we left it an hour and it worked fine
Used it to repair a leak in a joint on bathroom sink waste pipe. So far it seems to have done job brilliantly. Was worried as description appears to suggest more suitable to stick to metals, but stuck really well on pvc pipes. I did put effort in cleaning and sanding the pipe. Also make sure the two components mix well, so need to spend some time working the epoxy for a good mix
Very good just not perfect on wet pipes easy to mix but recommend wearing gloves
Used to patch a leak on a radiator, looks a bit ugly, but did the job very well
Nice fresh putty that mixed easily and stuck well to damp pipe.
Very easy to use and strong when cured. It worked good enough for me
Rather misleading name. It is a putty not an adhesive so I swapped it for some adhesive
Great stuff, easy to mould , sticks well and sets rock hard.
Now I was sceptical about using this stuff as in the past it's not been that good (not Araldite brand).
But I chose this because of the brand and it really is good. It dried bloody rock hard and is hard to sand down. Do wear gloves as it sticks to the skin but easy to mix. Job done.
Does what it states on the package,an exellent product
it repaired the broken plastic joint very robustly on my compressor air filter
