Looks nice but I think it was made from cast magnesium. Unfortunately due to space, where I mounted the hook and eye, they were slightly on different levels and the hole the hook goes in to is a tight fit so at an angle the hook wouldn't go into the eye. No probs thought I, I'll just bend the hook a bit. No such luck, the hook just broke off. Straight in the bin. Good job it was cheap.
Slightly longer than 150mm, but who cares. Seems solid and 2 did the job on summerhouse.

All the products were really good value and well made the coach screws were particularly useful in the recent heavy winds when two of my fence panels tried to break free. I managed to save them although initially I hadn’t bought ghem for that purpose from now on I will always keep some in my tool box.

These hooks are very badly made. The part where the hook attaches to plate is crimped at the back and will come apart very easy! Don’t buy!
