I was expecting to prefer the Record at twice the price which would have been the traditional choice. I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality. But most importantly the lightness of the equipment enabled a very successful restoration of some very important chairs. Failure would not have been an option. The Everbuild 502 PVA was excellent too, the combination worked as the complex gluing operation went seamlessly. It had been a while.
absolute rubbish not fit for purpose first thing I have ever had to return to toolstation.
Not the most robust but good for the price, work as expected
Good clamp, easy to use and lightweight. Woth the money.
Should have bought these years ago. What a difference they made to my project.
Great, cheap and cheerful. Used then to clamp for heavy gate, did the job fine. Only for occsssional use so price more important than quality. Quality is good enough for my needs.
Adequate for most jobs but a but lightweight in construction so I was hesitant in how hard I tightened it up when compared to the steel one. With perfectly straight or thinner timber this wouldn't matter, but with larger dimensions it might.
Excellent clamp, I have a few of these. They are a bit flexible though (aluminium) so put a small block under the centre of the span to ensure that the jaws stay at 90 degrees. Very good value, highly recommended.
A few kitchen door panels had come adrift due to temperature drop so required re gluing and clamping. Being various sizes they each required a different length clamp so this is ideal. Was tempted by the 900mm version but for only a pound more an extra 300mm is useful.
Well made and light to handle. Clamping surface areas are 40mm x 40mm. Clamp slide moves in 25mm steps whilst screw thread clamp has 37mm of travel.
Finished in a fetching blue on clear aluminium. You can leave the clear rigid poly wrap on the shaft for extra protection if desired although would imagine it will peel over time to reveal the bare ally without problem.
Look forward to winning the £100 for effort :)
They broke the first day, very thin aluminum, waste money
Good product, great price. Does the job intended. Lightweight ,but still capable
Not the best, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
As long as you are not putting excessive pressure on these clamps they work fine (ie joint clamping while gluing up which is probably 99percent of what you will use them for 👍
Good price, nice product and staff were friendly and helpful.
Excellent product which made the job so much easier
Light weight but strong sash clanp , very good for the price .
Did the job it was purchased for, is a bit lightweight, successful nonetheless
Not a bad sash clamp, good for light work but i wouldn't trust them on anything to heavy duty.
No idea what the bad reviews were about, these were perfect for the job and lightweight too.
Would highly recommend them for odd jobs and occasional use.
Only used the once so no long term review, but so far so good.
Not too shabby. The clamp could do with soft jaws for when you work with delicate surfaces.
