This was used to replace a upvc rodding eye which was broken by an industrial lawnmower. This one is sturdy and no problems so far.

Tbh it's a rodding point, it works, fits, and looks fine in situ, not too obtrusive.
Good value compared to similar alternatives. However, the round tube spigot should be 50 mm longer because the spigot goes inside of a 110mm fitting and the fitting when pushed onto the socket goes all the way up to the top. So, you see the top of the fitting at ground level. If you want to bed the rodding eye in mortar or decorative stones or earth you're likely to see the top of
the fitting unless you cover up to the extreme top of the rodding eye or don't push the 110 mm fitting all the way onto the rodding eye spigot; which is not desirable.
It fits perfectly into 110mm pipe joint with some lube :-)
