Purchased this to replace a failed fan, of the same type. It’s quiet but only time will tell how long this one lasts.
It’s a good low profile fan, there’s not a lot of room for the connections so make sure the cable enters in the correct location
Misleading description. Spigot is 100mm dia so does not fit inside 100mm tube. As this was a retrofit with an existing 100mm tube through the wall was unable to fit
Costumer said to me the fan is not working I had to take cover off so she could see the fan turning
Good quality fan, very quiet. Not too difficult to wire up; instructions are provided.
Excellent Product, powerful sturdy, easy to fit clear instructions, set your own fan duration time after switch off
Yet to fit, but seems fine. Delivered OK, should do the job.
Easy to fit, does what what is should and really quiet .Great value product
Just what the customer requested, and at a very acceptable price.
Does what it says
happy with the product
very quiet
Was easy enough to fit and replace old extractor. Dimensions are as stated and its pretty quiet.
It is still working but not strong enough to extract air
The width details are stated as 176 mm in toolstation specification. This is incorrect and is 154mm. Had to do some re-jigging to make it fit. Product information is a bit misleading as it states 'built in backdraft shutter'. This leads you to believe that there is an external Wall Outlet Backdraft Gravity Flap with the fan; there isn't; it is a small butterfly type shutter on the back of the fan, that is all. Still had to purchase a 100mm round pipe and a Wall Outlet Backdraft Gravity Flap to ensure the moisture is directed out properly and that no drafts can come back in. Wired up really easily to existing power of old extractor fan and for a female that's a bonus. Fan runs smooth and quiet but does take a while to eradicate the moisture from a small terraced bathroom after a bath (6 hours)
Second one of these I install. Quick and easy, I like the non return flap on the back. It's certainly quieter than other fans but not by miles. Lets see how well they hold up...
Nice and quiet, easy to install, humidity sensor and timer pre-set works nicely. I installed in a ceiling to a roof-tile vent so removed the back draft flaps to prevent condensation build up on them.
Chose this model as it was identical to a previous Manrose extractor fan. However this new fan had useless back flow flaps that rattle when it's windy. However just a 2 min job to remove them.
Good value mid priced extractor fan. Quiet but not silent. Variable timer. Easy to install
Very quiet and easy to install otherwise as described
These small bathroom fans are cheaply made and are not the best quality anymore, it’s not just one brand it’s all of them. In an attempt to obviously get costs down and the profit up the quality is reduced and unfortunately the end user gets the worst end of the stick!
The price is not exceedingly high but it’s gone up and up over a while now and the quality is not good, they are flimsy and poor quality internally.
Very quiet, we have it fitted in our bedroom on suite and is barely noticeable, in the bedroom with the door closed it’s completely silent.
