It's a doddle to fit onto the old base and lasts for 10 years, so excellent value too. My only possible negative is I'd like to be able to buy the alarm without the base since I already have one.
I need one like for like as the previous one failed but not expired. Fitted fine and still working.
Replaced for an older version, love the fact they can be fitted to the original reinstalled base. However the base is yellow and this is bright white so I will get round to changing them eventually. Won't buy any other brand.

Easy fit to previous base fitted a few years ago. Literally a 2 min job to remove, replacd and test.
Fitted with a special duracell.PP9, not sure if a standard one would do the job.
