RP-90 - so many uses in one can!!! This product is by far a better product than WD40. I use it as a penetrating oil and occasionally as a degreasing cleaner for metal. Can be used on paintwork to leave a shine better than polish and far more waterproof. Very viscous with high penetration will erase rusted or corroded metal parts very quickly. Always have a can in workshop and one in the car for mobile jobs
So I am a regular user of plus gas, it wasn’t available so I had to use this instead. While it may not be up the same performance wise as plus gas, you need to take into account it’s quite a bit cheaper, so for the price it’s works really well. I used it to free up a seized handbrake mechanism and it did the trick. While I may not go out of my way to buy this particular item, if I’m being conscious money wise or my go to isn’t available I’ll happily use it. Would I recommend it? Yes definitely for the reasons above.
This was all i could obtain as I needed it " now". Im glad I did because it really worked on rusty engine studs.
Used over the period of around four days to remove glow plugs in 10 year old Vauxhall Insignia .
Apparently this can be quite a risky job as the plugs can seize and break in the engine blocks
I utilised this spray and a torque wrench set at around 8nm and the plugs were effortlessly removed and i was so surprised.
The spray must have had a part in it so I’m really pleased
Works really well to prevent rust .Holds back the rust for a long time.
Didn't work to release a siezed bushing, but it's very difficult for oil to get any kind of purchase in that situation. it did work for siezed nuts on bolts.
RE-90, LOVE THE SPRAY NOZZLE AND THE SAFETY CLIP YOU NEED TO REMOVE BEFORE USE AND THE SPRAY STRAW WORK FANTASTICALLY, CLEAN WITH NO DRIPS NO DRIPS,
Fairly low odour and did the job allowing hand tools to break rusted nuts
Great product great price item would use every time
I always use this brand, it works really well and has the 2 way nozzle, spray or jet, good size tin lasts well. Good for cleaning grease off things as well as protecting metal components.
Good penetration and fast acting. The dual nozzle stops the loss of the spray tube
Did not free rusted brake part from caliper; however probably nothing but drilling it out would
I didn't try to undo anything before spraying this stuff, but the rusty bolts came out so it didn't hurt. In the past I used Plus gas with good results and this seems to be similar. The built in straw is good though, helped get it right in the gaps and doesn't just fall off and get lost, easy to just fold it when finished too
Used to soak rusty exhaust pipe manifold bolts. Left overnight, applied again, then removed the bolts later that day. Did the trick!
Trying to get a square spindle out of a UPVC window. Doesn't work.
Brilliant product, freeded off seized shaft perfectly
This product was just what we needed as the roof bars on our car had been in the rain for a long time and the screws would not move. A quick blast of this and the following morning it had done it's work and the screws undid ! Perfect!
Used for bolts on car. 30 years in place and needed to loosen. Sprayed on a couple of times over 3 days and easy to undo after that. Easy to use spray as opposed to awkward bottle type. Great product. Will be using on lawnmower bolts next.
Fixed my rusty trimmer, strongly recommended. Good product.
Had forty very rusty scaffold clamps to undo. They were installed 18 years ago and have spent half that time underwater. I gave two liberal squirts of the RP90 and left it overnight. The nuts were still rusty and tight but they all undid apart from three that snapped. I was able to use them again. Satisfied.
