A great set of blades, fitted my cheap Lidls machine. Did use some of the blades ,one to remove grout ,one to undercut a tile to remove, and gold one to remove old adhesive.
Had from toolstation to help remove a few tiles in a kitchen after a boiler change, thought I would be able to cut into the tiles and remove them in smaller chunks. They are only small tiles maybe 5in by 3in.The grit wore off very quickly only managed to cut the lenght of one tile before the diamond blade was dull.I had better results using a normal metel cutting blade.
These are good quality blades. It's easy to put them in place. I used only one blade for a quick job. It worked perfectly with my Dewalt multi-tool.
Great tools for replacing a broken tile would definitely recommend
I tried to cut a couple of standard wall tiles on the grout lines, it couldn't even manage that. I think it was 2 hours from collection to giving it back for a refund. The shop showed no surprise that an Abracs product was being returned
Had a couple of carpet threshers that when fitted years ago long before I bought the house had also gone under bathroom ceramic tiles. For a good straight cut found these tools worked really well. Would recommend for small jobs.
These are brilliant for cutting through tiles after fitting,
Good value set. I mainly used the grout/motar rake, second on the left in the picture, which does what it says on the packaging, however it didn't last as long as I thought it would.
Great set
Job made easy removing old grout .,,.....
Ideal for the small job I had to do, allowed me to cleanly remove some tiles and then re-use yhem
To date, I've only really used the double sided carbide hook like tool, which is superb for removing excess tile adhesive that needed reducing prior to grouting. With a bit of care, it even grinds back tile levelling spacers that snapped in the wrong place. If the other heads are as good as that one, I'll be well pleased. Would have been nice if it came in a basic plastic instead of a cardboard box.
The blades are proving helpful, if not indispensable in removing grout and tiles which are required for reuse. A wider scraper would be helpful but the thin edge is helpful. The tile cutter is used to remove narrow grout as the blade is much thinner than the grout remover.
It’s and Excellent set of tools to have when you’ve got a lot of raking out grout from tiles, so much quicker than the manual tool I have
Reasonable quality, but took longer than expected to cut through tile
Worked well on removing ceramic tile adhesive before re laying floor
Tried manual scraper first, so much easier with this multi tool kit
The attachments work well and have lasted well. These are open at one side so that it isn't necessary to remove the screw that clamps them in place, just loosen it using an allen key or lift the lever depending on the age of the machine.
The older type which don't have an open side do last better as this open type does break when its been abused enough.
