Well made and would have done the job but Didn’t actually need it in the end-worth noting that as this can be brought separately from the rubber adapter (40mm and /or 32mm) it means you can return it rather than having to pay for a complete kit of parts and end up wasting the parts not used.
The boss was purchased to attach to a soil pipe.Before attaching i made a 57mm hole in a scrap bit of old soil pipe and then tested the fit.
It did not fit perfectly leaving a gap all around which allowed the boss to move.It did not fit snuggly sround the soil pipe.I have not used the side clip boss before as i usually use the back clip but could not get to the back due to obstructions.I could only use this type of boss so installed it.Due to the gap i used CT1 as apposed solvent weld glue.
It was later tested and leaked a small amount of water.I re siliconed around the leak again with CT1 and the leak stopped.
Never had a leak before with back clipping boss but as said before access was restricted.
If it continued to leak it would have meant replacing the soil pipe at a big cost to me.
Will not be using this product again
Use a 50mm socket as your boss adaptor not the rubber boss adaptor that leaks over time

The radius of the boss was a tight fit around the pipe. Not ideal for solvent weld. Some people used silicon instead

The jokey description is all very well, but does not mention using solvent weld cement to make the boss watertight! Nor does it emphasize that a suitable rubber plug (for 32, 40, or 50mm waste pipe) is needed...
Worked great to add a 40mm sink/washing machine/dishwasher waste to a soil pipe. Just make sure you buy the right sized rubber seal as I didn’t buy one and had to make a separate journey - ooos
It does just what it is meant to, good item, but why sell the bush separate.
Fit not perfect and had to tighten which not entirely straightforward due to difficult access to screw, used plenty of polly. and no leaks, so does do the job.
