OX Tools Runs SPEEDFRAME Measuring Tool Giveaway via PB Weekly

Extendable Level and Scribing Edge Competition Ends Soon

OX Tools has announced the final call for entries in its latest promotional giveaway for the OX Pro SPEEDFRAME™. Hosted in partnership with Professional Builder Weekly, the promotion offers tradespeople the chance to win two different sizes of the recently launched hand tool, which combines layout, measuring, and leveling functionalities into a single unit.

The SPEEDFRAME™ is engineered to streamline layout tasks for joiners, dryliners, and general builders. It incorporates an extendable twin-rail system designed for point-to-point measuring alongside dual vials for accurate level checks across variable spans. The tool also features a continuous scribing edge and a high-precision readout window to ensure accurate marking out over extended distances.

What This Means for UK Tradespeople Buying Layout Tools

What does this mean for a UK tradesperson or DIYer actually buying this kit — does it change what they should pay, buy, or watch out for?

For tradespeople considering an upgrade to their spirit levels or layout gear, this promotion offers an opportunity to test a premium dual-function tool without financial outlay. In retail channels such as Screwfix, Toolstation, and merchant yards, extendable levels and specialized scribing frames typically command a higher price point than standard box levels due to the added engineering in the rail systems. Buyers looking to purchase similar high-precision layout kit off the shelf should evaluate whether an extendable frame replaces multiple fixed levels in their van, weighing the initial retail investment against space saved and faster setup times on site.

Key Features of the OX Pro SPEEDFRAME

The tool includes several technical details aimed at improving daily workflow on site:

• Patented Twin-Rail Extension: Allows smooth expansion for variable gap measuring.
• Readout Window: Delivers precise numerical measurements directly at the point of extension.
• Dual Vials: Provides standard vertical and horizontal leveling capabilities.
• Continuous Edge: Enables uninterrupted marking out along the full extended length.

Tradespeople interested in the competition can submit their entries through the PB Weekly portal before the final closing deadline.
