The Makita DJR187Z 18V LXT Brushless Reciprocating Saw is a compact and versatile tool that features a brushless motor along with an updated design crank mechanism for improved efficiency.

The saw features an electronic two-speed selection, up to 3000spm, which produces a cutting capacity up to 255mm.  Capacble of dealing with mild steel, wood and PVC piping, this saw includes a variable speed control via the trigger as well as electric brake.

The high powered saw allows for tool less blade change, simply by turning the tool to remove the blade. This allows for faster blade removal / replacement thus increased productivity.

At the heart of this saw is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently.  As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
