The brushless motor enables improved performance in demanding applications while the 54V XR FlexVolt battery provides maximum power and performance. Features include an electronic brake which stops the wheel quickly when the trigger is disengaged, electronic clutch which reduces the kickback reaction in the event of a pinch or stall, tool-free quick release guard for easy blade access, a mesh cover over the air intake vents restricting dust being sucked through the motor and a rubber over-mould providing enhanced grip and comfort. The Wireless Tool Control transmitter allows the tool to be wirelessly paired with another enabled device, such as a dust extractor, for automatic activation and shut down. Also features tool-free blade height adjustability, with park position, and a built in dust extraction port allowing direct connection to a dust extractor, or DeWalt AirLock system.
